RICS Surveyors Homebuyers Survey of a 1960's dormer bungalow near to Derby.

Defects found included frost damged bricks, ponding on a garage roof, uninsulated roof voids and a dangerous loft hatch.

 

Front. Cvaity brick construction with concrete tile roof and replacement UPVc windows. The timber framed dormer projections are now cladd wth UPVc

Air brick that is below damp proof course and has lost its face from freeze thaw action

Expanding foam ceiling repair

Light bulbs that will break if the roof hatch is dropped

Uninsulated angled ceiling looking into the uninsulated dormer ceiling
